"When we got into the studio, we both made each other feel extremely alive," he said. "There was a beautiful sense of healthy competition between us."
Despite fracturing his larynx while touring in 2023, Tyler still "got the pipes," Yungblud noted. "It can take extreme psychological toll on you, but I think we made each other feel on edge and comfortable at the same time."
Yungblud’s rise has been meteoric since performing at the Black Sabbath tribute Back To The Beginning concert last July, just days before Ozzy Osbourne’s death. Now embraced by rock icons themselves, he’s channeling that momentum into even more music.
"I’m loving making music with my heroes and my idols," he said.
"I want to get in the studio with everyone that’s hitting me up. And there’s so much music coming, I have Idols part two ready to go. I’m just so inspired at the minute. I feel like rock music is being welcomed by the mainstream again, and it’s my favorite music to make. I’m just exploding at all angles."
