Danielle Busby of TLC's OutDaughtered is getting emotional this holiday season.
The reality star and mom of six shared on Instagram that parenting during the holidays comes with its own set of “seasonal tears.” She added that raising her six daughters, especially quints Olivia, Ava, Hazel, Parker, and Riley, can make those emotions even more intense during the holidays. She also noted that big sisterBlayke is part of the busy mix.
"Well, tonight I had one of those 'oh man, it hit me moments' as I was watching the quints decorate their Christmas tree all together with no help needed from me, Mama! Bittersweet moment, for sure, that sent me down a tear fest. (I’ll call these seasonal tears)," Busby wrote.
"Every day raising quintuplets is a hard day, honestly! But every day is a new day, and that new day is another day we get to experience more blessings as a family, and for that I am so grateful for!"

The reality star concluded, "Our first Christmas, the quintuplets were (if I remember correctly lol) about 12-13 weeks gestation, and all we simply had was a baby stocking for each of them hanging on the tree. A decade has now passed where we have celebrated more joyous Christmases together, AND here I am tonight, randomly emotional watching them decorate their tree like they have never hung an ornament before. Cue seasonal tears."
Along with her commentary, Busby shared a series of four photos. These included current-day pics along with some past Christmas memories.
Fans of the family agreed that the holidays can bring on all sorts of mixed emotions. They shared their remarks in the comments section of Busby's post.
"I love your new tree. Thank you for sharing your beautiful children," wrote one follower. A second penned, "They’ve grown so quickly!! You’re an amazing mom Danielle. You should be so proud of yourself."
"Oh my gosh, so sweet and so special! Wow! Everyone is growing up so fast!" declared a third fan. "Yes, the holidays can bring on a lot of emotions, but it's all part of life. Hope you enjoy this season as well," concluded a fourth Instagram user.
The family hasn't been featured on TLC's lineup for around two years, but that doesn't mean that their followers can't find updates online. Busby and her husband, Adam, host a podcast titled More Than Reality, keeping fans updated with their lives via Instagram.
The Busby family is currently not filming a new season of OutDaughtered. In September 2025, Parade reported that during an Instagram stories Q&A, Danielle and Adam Busby didn't rule out the possibility of a new season, responding, "Maybe." They added that Season 11 is “currently not filming or on the schedule to film.”
