The city of Pasadena Friday, Dec. 5, held its annual Mayor’s Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on the steps of City Hall.
Attendees enjoyed local singers, dancers, crafts, light refreshments and an appearance from Santa Claus, who has been particularly busy of late.
Mayor Victor Gordo lit the city’s tree at 6 p.m. Members of the Pasadena Fire Department were at the ceremony collecting donations of new unwrapped toys, sports equipment and gift cards for its annual toy drive for local underserved children and teens.
Live performances included Afterschool Adventures Cheer and Dance, Outspoken Dance Company, Rosebud Academy Choir, W.O.W!, On the Move and Elements Dance Space.
