Actress Jessica Alba revealed in a new interview that she had a rough experience while filming one particular scene in the 2005 superhero film Fantastic Four, which she starred in as Sue Storm, also known as the Invisible Woman.
The 44-year-old talked about her "least favorite scene" in the film during a conversation at the Red Sea Film Festival, via Variety, or the moment when her character reappears completely nude in public after using her superpower to become invisible.
"I thought that was awful. It was very humiliating in real life," she declared of the experience.
Alba opened up about how her personal background contributed to the negative feelings, saying, "I grew up with a pretty conservative family, and I am a pretty modest person. I dreaded that scene for weeks.”

Despite her struggles with this scene, Alba still had appreciation for the role, noting that she "loved" Storm and how she challenged stereotypes, explaining, "She was a woman I looked up to. She was very maternal and very kind, but also not a pushover; she spoke her mind. She had a great moral compass. No matter who you are, you can look up to her."
"Oftentimes, the women in these stories need to be saved by a guy or the villain, the problem in the story. This was back then. It’s different now," she went on, referencing the history of gender stereotypes prevalent in the action genre.
Along with Alba, the 2005 film also starred Chris Evans, Michael Chiklis, Ioan Gruffudd, and the late Julian McMahon. A sequel called Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer came out in 2007.
Since then, there have been two more actresses who have taken on the role of the Invisible Woman, with Kate Mara playing her in the 2015 reboot, while Vanessa Kirby currently plays her in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with her first appearance in The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
