Every month, the beloved fast food chain adds a new rotating Blizzard flavor to its menu and sometimes those flavors feature equally iconic inclusions, like Oreo cookie pieces, Heath bars, M&M's, Reese's—you get the idea.
This time around, rumor has it that Dairy Queen is cooking up a treat that sounds a whole lot like an "amazing" special it offered a few months ago, just with some even sweeter additions.
Dairy Queen's New Blizzard Flavor Leaks and Fans 'Need It Now'
Over the weekend, trusted food blogger Snackolator reported that the ice cream chain would be churning out another icy-blue Blizzard flavor, which it dubbed the Snowdrift Blizzard.
According to the insider info, the new frozen treat starts with a base of cake batter-flavored soft serve, similar to the Superman special it offered this past May (which customers still gush over as "amazing"), just without the cookie dough and, instead, pieces of Oreo cookies and marshmallow swirled throughout.

"I'm gonna try ANY OREO Blizzard, but this new Snowdrift Blizzard *looks* perfect for winter!" the influencer declared, kicking off a swarm of similar comments from fans.

While the brand hasn't officially announced anything, the new Blizzard is speculated to drop on Thursday, Jan. 1, as DQ's January Blizzard Flavor of the Month.
