Dubai Health Authority issues detailed guidelines for close contacts of COVID-19 positive patients
Dubai: The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has reiterated its guideline for all close contacts of COVID-19 patients, asking them to complete the entire 10-day quarantine period to help prevent the spread of the disease. Who is a close contact? A close contact is defined as any individual who has spent more than 15 minutes with a confirmed COVID-19 case without maintaining a physical distance of 2 metres. The quarantine period is 10 days from the last meeting with the confirmed case.
