Dancing With The Stars runner-up Alix Earle and her boyfriendBraxton Berrios have called it quits.
The pair's breakup was confirmed on Saturday, Dec. 6 by Us Weekly. A source who spoke to the publication said that the “majority of their relationship was long-distance and it was hard for them to navigate” and that “they mutually agreed on the split.”
Fans began speculating that the social media influencer and the NFL player had broken up after Berrios was noticeably absent for all DWTS live shows. However, Earle shut down the breakup rumors, claiming that Berrios, who is wide receiver for the Houston Texans, was unable to attend because of football.

In a TikTok post shared three days after the DWTS finale, Earle said there was “a lot of change happening” in her personal life while filming the reality competition series, noting things happened during the season that she chose not to share on television.
“I thought about it at times but I didn’t want to just say things for the sake of making a really entertaining package and putting these stories in other people’s hands,” she said at the time.

Earle and her professional dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy finished in second place during the season 34 finale, which aired on Nov. 25. Before the final results were read, Berrios appeared via video message to congratulate his now-ex.
“I’ve watched you pour everything into this since the moment it has started, and I think it shows,” Berrios said in the video. “Good luck. Have fun, babe.”
Earle and Berrios were first linked in May 2023, shortly after his breakup with Sophia Culpo, who accused him of cheating on her with Earle. Both Berrios and Earle denied the allegations. In June 2023, Berrios said on his Instagram Story that the relationship wasn’t working out and that their split “had nothing to do with anybody else.”
Earle and Berrios officially became boyfriend and girlfriend in November 2023.
“To the person who taught me to love wholeheartedly .. happy 1 year ❣️ You have become so much more than my best friend and partner,” Earle wrote on Instagram in November 2024 for their first anniversary. “I didn’t know I was capable of this type of love and I feel like I have truly found my other half! I love you.”
