A large plume of smoke rose from a fire burning in a building on the far northwest side of Chicago Friday afternoon.
Around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, aerial video from NBC Chicago Sky 5 showed thick smoke rising from a building on the 8600 block of West Foster.
The building on fire is next door to Everett Mckinley Dirksen Elementary School. It was not immediately clear if the school was impacted.
Chicago Fire Department did not immediately respond to NBC Chicago’s inquiry.
