The New York Jets beat the Atlanta Falcons in Week 13 and dropped down to the seventh overall selection in the first round. If they stay there, they’re going to have to consider using some of that first-round capital they acquired at the deadline to take one of the big three quarterback prospects. That’s where we’ll start this week’s 2026 NFL Mock Draft, with a trade-up for the Jets.
2026 NFL Mock Draft
1. TRADE — New York Jets (via TEN): QB Fernando Mendoza – Indiana
The Jets make a bold move and land a quarterback, sending their first-rounder in 2026 (No. 7), Indianapolis’ first-rounder in 2026 (No. 23), and their first-rounder in 2027 to Tennessee.
2. New York Giants: LB Arvell Reese – Ohio State
The Giants take arguably the top defensive prospect in the draft, thanks to the QB arms race around them once again.
3. New Orleans Saints: QB Dante Moore – Oregon
New Orleans is in desperate need of a quarterback, and with one of the big three already off the board in this scenario, they make the no-brainer pick and take a swing at their long-term plans under center.
4. Las Vegas Raiders: QB Ty Simpson – Alabama
Same logic for the Raiders, who snatch the last of the big three quarterbacks in the class after the disastrous Geno Smith experiment this season.

This leaves the Browns without a chair when the music stopped on the top quarterbacks in the class. So they’ll take one of the best edge rushers in the draft to pair opposite Myles Garrett.
6. Washington Commanders: S Caleb Downs – Ohio State
A tone-setter with elite instincts, Downs instantly upgrades Washington’s defense.
7. TRADE — Tennessee Titans (via NYJ): T Spencer Fano — Utah
After moving down from No. 1, the Titans take a foundational offensive tackle. Fano brings athleticism and versatility to a line in desperate need of long-term answers.
8. Arizona Cardinals: WR Jordyn Tyson — Arizona State
Arizona continues building around its young offense with a dynamic playmaker who can stretch the field and win after the catch.
9. Los Angeles Rams (via ATL): CB Jermod McCoy — Tennessee
The Rams add an ascending corner with size and physicality — a perfect fit for their defensive overhaul.
10. Cincinnati Bengals: EDGE Keldric Faulk — Auburn
Cincinnati reloads its defensive front with a big, powerful edge rusher who fits the prototype they’ve leaned on in recent years.
11. Minnesota Vikings: HB Jeremiyah Love — Notre Dame
If there’s anything I hate more than the idea of Jeremiyah Love in Dallas, it’s Love in Minnesota for the next half-decade. The Vikings add a versatile, explosive running back who can stabilize a run game that’s lacked juice since Dalvin Cook’s peak.

Miami injects even more speed and separation ability into an already terrifying offense. Lemon fits their skill-set mold perfectly.
13. Dallas Cowboys: EDGE David Bailey — Texas Tech
Dallas grabs another high-upside pass rusher to rotate with and eventually complement Micah Parsons.
14. Kansas City Chiefs: WR Carnell Tate — Ohio State
Tate gives the Chiefs the reliable route runner and strong-handed target they’ve been searching for since losing their WR1 consistency.
15. Pittsburgh Steelers: LB Sonny Styles — Ohio State
A versatile, hard-hitting hybrid defender who can fill multiple roles for Pittsburgh’s evolving defense.
16. Carolina Panthers: DI Peter Woods — Clemson
Carolina strengthens the interior defensive line with a disruptive, high-motor interior presence.
17. Houston Texans: T Francis Mauigoa — Miami (FL)
A plug-and-play tackle with exceptional power, Mauigoa helps protect C.J. Stroud as Houston continues rebuilding the trenches.

Detroit upgrades its secondary with a sticky, competitive corner who plays exactly the brand of football Dan Campbell loves.
19. Baltimore Ravens: EDGE Cashius Howell — Texas A&M
A twitchy, explosive edge rusher who fits like a glove in Baltimore’s hybrid pressure scheme.
20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: TE Kenyon Sadiq — Oregon
A modern tight end with YAC and mismatch ability, Sadiq gives Tampa Bay a versatile weapon in the passing game.
21. Buffalo Bills: EDGE T.J. Parker — Clemson
Buffalo continues its tradition of keeping the defensive line stocked with young talent and rotational pass rush.
22. Philadelphia Eagles: WR Denzel Boston — Washington
Philly lands a big-bodied target with strong ball skills, giving them long-term insurance behind A.J. Brown.
23. TRADE — Tennessee Titans (via NYJ, via IND): CB Avieon Terrell — Clemson
The Titans, now back on the clock again, grab a smooth, instinctive corner to stabilize a young secondary.
24. San Francisco 49ers: T Kadyn Proctor — Alabama
San Francisco finds its heir to Trent Williams in a powerful, road-grading tackle with dominant run-block traits.

The Chargers continue rebuilding the offensive line with a physical, scheme-versatile guard.
26. Cleveland Browns (via JAX): CB Brandon Cisse — South Carolina
Cleveland adds speed and ball skills to the secondary, bolstering a defense that thrives on coverage versatility.
27. Dallas Cowboys (via GB): EDGE Romello Height — Texas Tech
Dallas further invests in its pass rush, adding a bendy, explosive rusher who fits their profile.
28. Seattle Seahawks: CB Colton Hood — Tennessee
Seattle adds a long, fluid corner who fits their DNA and deepens a young secondary.
29. Los Angeles Rams: T Caleb Lomu — Utah
The Rams grab a developmental tackle with size and athletic upside — a critical investment for their long-term offensive structure.
30. Denver Broncos: LB CJ Allen — Georgia
A fast, instinctive linebacker who brings much-needed sideline-to-sideline speed to Denver’s defense.
31. Chicago Bears: EDGE R Mason Thomas — Oklahoma
Chicago addresses its most significant need opposite Montez Sweat, landing a bursty speed rusher with real pass-rush upside.
32. New England Patriots: T Gennings Dunker — Iowa
A quintessential Patriots pick: fundamentally sound, technically refined, and capable of starting early at tackle.
