Bhubaneswar: The Opposition Congress on Friday alleged in the Odisha Assembly that the question paper for the Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) written examination was leaked nearly three hours before the test was held.
Raising the issue through a point of order during a discussion on unemployment, Congress MLA CS Raazen Ekka claimed that the ANM question paper surfaced at around 11 am, well ahead of the scheduled 2 pm examination. “It has come to our notice that the question paper for the ANM written examination was leaked at 11 am, three hours before the test,” Ekka told the House.
He further stated that the alleged leak was reported from Malkangiri and Bolangir districts, where second-year ANM students were set to appear for the exam.
The incident has sparked strong resentment among candidates and parents, who have demanded a thorough probe and stringent action against those responsible.
