Millions of children across the United States are heading into the holidays without reliable access to food—and some of the biggest names in entertainment are stepping up to help.
A new campaign from No Kid Hungry brings together Jeff Bridges, P!NK, Kristen Bell, Maren Morris, Shaun Cassidy and a lineup of beloved chefs to raise awareness and inspire Americans to give back this season.
The initiative comes at a critical moment. Nearly 14 million children in the U.S. are living with food insecurity, a crisis intensified by rising food prices, economic instability and gaps in essential nutrition programs. For families still recovering from financial strain, the holidays can be particularly challenging.

In the campaign announcement, the stars underscored how urgent the situation has become.
“Hunger in America is real, and it’s getting worse for many families,” Bridges said, urging people to give whatever they can. “Kids deserve stability, especially during the holidays. If each of us gives a little, we can make a real difference right now."
P!NK echoed the sentiment, saying, "The holidays should be joyful for every kid. No parent should have to choose between buying groceries or paying the light bill. If we can step up and help even one family breathe easier this season, then that's exactly what we should do."
Bell, who has two daughters with husband Dax Shepard, added a perspective many parents understand immediately, saying, "I'm a mom. Thinking about a child going without a meal, especially during the holidays, is unacceptable. Supporting No Kid Hungry is one of the simplest and most meaningful ways to spread some real joy this season."
Their goal is simple: use their platforms to spark nationwide support.

Food, they note, is one of the simplest ways families connect—and ensuring children have consistent meals is foundational to their wellbeing.

“When kids are nourished, they’re healthier, better able to learn and more likely to build a brighter future,” said Leah Ray, Chief Development Officer at No Kid Hungry.
