Colorado and head coach Deion Sanders have reportedly found a new offensive coordinator.
CBS Sports reported Thursday that CU is zeroing in on Sacramento State head coach Brennan Marion to become the new offensive coordinator of the Buffaloes.
The 38-year-old Marion would become the third coordinator in Sanders’ four seasons at CU. He would replace Pat Shurmur, who took over play calling duties from Sean Lewis late in the 2023 season and has been the Buffs’ coordinator the past two years.
Brett Bartolone took over play calling for the final four games of this season. Shurmur’s two-year contract expires in January.
Marion led Sacramento State to a 7-5 record this season, his first as a head coach.
