Charlie Kirk was the most trending celebrity death of the year on Google, while Pope Leo XIV’s predecessor,Pope Francis, ranked seventh on the list.
Singer-songwriter d4vd (real name David Anthony Burke) sits high on the list after 14-year-old Celeste Rivas was found dead in the trunk of his car in September. The investigation is currently ongoing.
At No. 9 is Andy Byron, former CEO of the tech company Astronomer, who resigned after a viral TikTok video showed him on a "kiss cam" at a Coldplay concert with the company's head of HR, Kristin Cabot.
