Gorillaz will bring their immersive House of Kong exhibition to Downtown Los Angeles for a limited four-week run from Feb. 26 to March 19, 2026, taking over Rolling Greens DTLA after its well-received debut in London last year.
The experience opens the virtual band’s world to fans through audiovisual installations, artwork and archival material tracing the group’s evolution since the release of “Tomorrow Comes Today” in 2000.
Exhibition tickets are available now for Kong Card holders, with general on-sale beginning tomorrow at 9 a.m. via houseofkong.gorillaz.com.
Fans who purchase exhibition tickets will also receive presale access to two newly announced Gorillaz shows at the Hollywood Palladium on Feb. 22 and 23, where Damon Albarn and the Gorillaz live band will perform the group’s upcoming album “The Mountain” in full. The live dates will include guest collaborators featured on the record, with a limited number of tickets also available during the general on-sale starting at 9 a.m. Dec. 10. For these shows, Gorillaz will use Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange, allowing resale only at the original price. For more information, visit Ticketmaster.com.
House of Kong was created in collaboration with Jamie Hewlett, Damon Albarn, Eleven Management and creative director Stephen Gallagher, who describes the project in a recent press release as an audiovisual installation rather than a retrospective. The exhibition will run daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with tickets starting at $39.50.
The Los Angeles dates arrive ahead of the release of “The Mountain,” the band’s ninth studio album, featuring a roster of collaborators including Black Thought, Anoushka Shankar, Johnny Marr, Sparks, Bizarrap, Trueno, IDLES and Bobby Womack, among others. The record spans 15 tracks recorded across multiple countries and languages, accompanied by new visual art from Hewlett.
