Derek Hough and his wife Hayley Erbert are expecting their first baby together any day now. As excited as they are to become first time parents, Hough is hoping that his baby isn't born in the next couple of days as he's traveling for work.
"Alright, I'm leaving town for, like, the next five days," Hough said in a video posted to Instagram on Wednesday, Dec. 3. "I'm going to Chicago and very excited about it—for Ovation—but also very nervous because this baby? Could literally come any day and wooooo!"
"Please, please stay in there," Hough continued. "Stay in there, little one. I'm going to keep the jets on for the plane. Keep the jets rolling, guys, 'cuz I might have to hop on that plane and come deliver this baby!"
Fans reacted to Hough having to leave his very pregnant wife in the comments section of the post.
"That baby is going to be the most gorgeous child ever! But please… baby H cook until Daddy gets home," one person wrote.
"Keep baby cookin a little longer," someone else said.
"First babies usually arrive early, but labor is usually longer. Hopefully all the stars align and you are home to receive the bundle," a third comment read.

Hough and Erbert shared the news of Erbert's pregnancy in July.
