Arizona’s Brent Brennan looked like a lame-duck coach just one year into taking his dream job. A year later, after retaining his star quarterback and replacing all his coordinators, the Wildcats have a chance to hit 10 wins with a bowl victory.
And looking ahead to 2026, optimism is high — partially because Noah Fifita could return for a fifth college season and second in offensive coordinator Seth Doege’s offense.
The incoming talent only adds to the optimism that 2025 won’t be a one-off year of success.
According to 247 Sports, Arizona had the 34th-ranked recruiting class in the country as of early Wednesday morning when the early signing period opens.
The class includes six four-star prospects: Receiver RJ Mosley, cornerback Xaier Hiler, offensive tackle Malachi Joyner, quarterback Oscar Rios and tight end Henry Gabalis.
The Wildcats’ class is ranked fourth among Big 12 teams as the early signing period opens, behind Texas Tech, BYU and West Virginia.
