On Dec. 1, the former child actress who played Laura Ingalls Wilder in the beloved historical drama series took to Instagram with exciting news.

    "It's Monday, December 1, and here we are—stepping into a brand-new month, right in the thick of the holidays. ?," Gilbert, 61, wrote on her lifestyle brand Modern Prairie's account. "If this season feels tender, complicated, or even a little heavy… we want you to know you’re not alone. Melissa and all of us at Modern Prairie are holding space for you, and gently reminding you: there is hope for the holidays. ✨"

    That's when the post revealed, "Tomorrow, we’re gathering for Hope for the Holidays—an event created to wrap you in encouragement, connection, and that steady kind of light that helps you breathe a little easier this time of year."

    In the video, Gilbert told followers, "The holiday seasons can be a time of warmth and celebration and tradition.
