A Denver man was sentenced Monday to 40 years in prison for killing another man.
Taleur Davis, 28, was sentenced after pleading guilty in October to second-degree murder, according to a post on the Denver District Attorney’s Office’s X.com account. Davis was arrested in connection with the shooting in October 2024.
Davis shot and killed 28-year-old David Richardson Jr., on Aug. 15, 2024, and left Richardson’s body in a 1200 block alley between North Verbena and North Wabash streets.
