In a since-deleted tweet, Dillingham gave his thoughts on X and on his Instagram story using a Denzel Washington tweet, warning about destination addiction.

Dillingham’s deleted tweet comes as his name popped up earlier this month as a potential candidate for several power four head coach openings, including Auburn, Florida, LSU and Penn State. Dillingham was an offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Auburn in 2019.
Following ASU’s game against West Virginia on Nov. 15, Dillingham affirmed his commitment to the Sun Devils, saying he was never leaving and that ASU is his home.
Several power four programs have reportedly hired new head coaches on Sunday, including Florida’s hiring of Tulane coach Jon Sumrall and Auburn signing USF’s Alex Golesh.
LSU, another top opening, has been largely connected to Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin despite the No. 7 Rebels finishing with an 11-1 record and looking like a lock for the 2025 College Football Playoff. ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported on Sunday that LSU is expected to hire Kiffin away from Ole Miss.
