2025 ROCKY CITY SWIMMING CLUB TWILIGHT MEET
Friday, November 28th – Sunday, November 20th 2nd World War Memorial (Southside) Pool, Wandal, Queensland, Australia LCM (50m) Recap #1 Results: Meet Mobile – 2025 Rocky City Twilight MeetThe 2025 Rocky City Swimming Club Twilight Meet concluded in Australia but not before Olympic medalist Meg Harris put up another powerful performance.
We reported how the 23-year-old clocked a super speedy outing of 24.48 in the 50 free; however, Harris also ripped a big-time result of 52.86 to win the 100 freestyle.
Harris opened in 25.38 and closed in 27.48 to register the 4th-fastest time of her career. She’s been as swift as 52.52, her personal best scored at the 2024 Olympic Trials so her time here was only .34 outside that result.
Additionally, Harris’ 52.86 checks in as her fastest ever effort outside of a Trials or Championships competition. Her previous best-ever in-season mark came in the form of the 53.17 logged at the Brisbane Metro in March of 2024.
She now represents the #1 swimmer in the world, dethroning Hong Kong’s Siobhan Haughey who is the only other sub-53-second performer thus far.
