For 2025, McEntire didn't post any recipes or tables ready for guests. Instead, the coach of The Voice posted a series of photos showing her and fiancé Rex Linn in a movie theater.
"Thanksgiving at the movies ?," she wrote in the caption. "Saw Hamnet! Somebody spilled popcorn... and he wasn't bald."
In the photos, McEntire wore a brown sweater and a khaki baseball hat. Next to her was Linn, dressed even more comfortably in a grey hooded sweatshirt and black knit cap. The "spilled popcorn" in question was on the floor next to Reba's feet, where it appears she spilled it.

McEntire's Thanksgiving at the movies was a far cry from the previous year. In 2024, her Thanksgiving Day post showed the songstress standing over a long table decked out with flowers and perfectly placed napkins and plates. While she was putting a plate of angel food cake down, two already-made strawberry shortcakes adorned the table.
"Wishing you the happiest of Thanksgivings! ?," she captioned the post. "Who are you gathering around the table with this year?"
