I’m thankful the Chicago Bulls can’t ruin our holiday by losing to one of the worst teams in the league by double digits!
In all seriousness, as my overwhelmingly busy 2025 winds down, I have a long list of things to be thankful for. I will not bother you with all the personal details right now, but I’d like everyone who stops by here at BN to know that you’re right near the top of my list. It’s been an utter joy and privilege to be with this site for as long as I have. The Bulls haven’t given us much to work with, but we have made the most of it together.
Anyway, I have to go pre-stretch my pants before this afternoon’s coma-inducing feast, so I’m going to keep these morning notes very brief. I’m currently sitting near the border of Iowa while visiting my wife’s family, so you can only imagine all the buttery and greasy goodness coming my way.
Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours! pic.twitter.com/qwo6euZVOs
— Chicago Bulls (@chicagobulls) November 27, 2025 The Chicago Bulls celebrated this holiday season by giving back to the community. Bulls players and staff participated in three separate events over the last couple of weeks. Newest team member Isaac Okoro joined some coaches to hand out 80+ meals to people in Saint Leonard’s Ministries, per the team. Ayo Dosunmu is also creating a new tradition, holding his second annual Turkey Drive at KLEO Community Family Life Center. The event gave over 100 families on the south side a turkey for the holiday.Blessing 100 families for Thanksgiving ?@AyoDos_11 showed love to @KLEO_Chicago on the Southside with his 2nd-annual Ayo Dos Foundation Thanksgiving drive, feeding 100 families have dinner for the holiday ? pic.twitter.com/gKGULvh91u
— Bulls Community (@bullscommunity) November 27, 2025 Finally, another Chicago native made his impact by helping two families shop for groceries. Both were from New Moms Chicago, and Carter gave each a $500 gift card, Bulls gear and tickets, as well as a Jewel-Osco gift card to help with some post-holiday shopping. With Christmas just over a month away, I think it’s safe to say this is only the start of the franchise’s season of giving. After Noa Essengue’s ugly stint in the Bulls’ recent loss to the Pelicans, the rookie returned to the G League for a bounce-back game. He provided the Windy City squad with another strong performance, dropping 27 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 steals. While he may have only shot 8-18 from the field, he did get to the free-throw line for a 5-7 showing. With how good he is in the open floor and how elastic he can be finishing around the rim, I still think there is a chance he is clocking some minutes for this team down the stretch of this season.t.co/tqoXHPhARl pic.twitter.com/yX1D0srkOU
— Windy City Bulls (@windycitybulls) November 27, 2025 Lachlan Olbrich also had the best game of his young career. The second-round pick recorded his first-ever triple-double with 26 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists. He also shot 8-13 from the field! It’s still a little difficult to picture exactly how he would fit into your typical NBA rotation, but he fights hard on the boards and is craftier than expected with the ball in his hands. The passing ability also underscores his overall feel for the game. To be sure, he isn’t going to blow you away in any one category when you turn on the TV, but the guy seems to have an innate feel for making winning plays.t.co/YRl5KkFYIx pic.twitter.com/58VlZ1wZPZ
— Windy City Bulls (@windycitybulls) November 27, 2025 IT’S A THANKSGIVING MIRACLE! The Bears will welcome back two of their top defenders for their huge matchup against the Eagles tomorrow. The Cubs didn’t end up signing Dylan Cease … are we ok with that? Thanksgiving NHL mock draft time!MORE FROM BLEACHER NATION: Go Ad Free | Subscribe to the BN Newsletter
