According to The Cinéprism on X, they reported each cast member's salary per episode for the final fifth season. David Harbour topped the list with $1,187,000, while main stars like Millie Bobby-Brown are reported to only make $250,000 to $350,000 per episode.
Her co-star, Gaten Matarazzo, came in second behind Harbour and reported to make $875,000 per Season 5 episode. Noah Schnapp came in third while making the same as Matarazzo.
Based on the reported numbers, fans don't think it makes a lot of sense. Stranger Things fans see Bobby-Brown as the series lead, but she makes the least out of the entire cast.

After first starring in Stranger Things, Bobby-Brown went on to lead the Netflix movie Enola Holmes and the sequel. She also starred in Damsel and The Electric State for the streaming platform.
Fans also noticed the absence of Winona Ryder, who has been a part of the series since its inception.
