A 47,075-square-foot corporate headquarters in Carlsbad has been sold for $19.3 million, a brokerage announced.
The property, at 2131 Faraday Ave. was acquired by The Wonderful Company from RPG, according to Cushman & Wakefield. It is currently leased to Boston Scientific (NYSE: BSX).
Aric Starck, executive vice chairman of Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Markets Group, said the listing “presented a rare opportunity to acquire a Class A life science asset” that is also fully leased to a Fortune 500 company.
The freestanding facility features a central laboratory, high-end corporate offices, on-site amenities and mechanical systems suited for biotech, medical device and corporate users.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Starck and Drew Dodds represented the seller in the transaction.
