The upcoming Season 4 will be the last of the hit Hallmark Channel series. Filming is currently underway on Season 4 and will be completed later this month. After that, jumping into the pond will only result in you getting wet.

The Way Home stars Andie MacDowell and Chyler Leigh as mother and daughter, Del and Kat Landry. Created by Heartland producer Heather Conkie and Heartland writer Alexandra Clarke, the show debuted back in January 2023. The series, with its twisty, time-bending premise, was an instant hit for Hallmark Channel.
The family drama tells the story of Kat Landry (Leigh), her teenage daughter Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow) and Kat’s estranged mother Del (MacDowell), who are all strong, willful and independent women. More than 20 years prior, life-changing events created a chasm in their family that time had yet to repair. Kat and Del were not on speaking terms. Alice had never met her grandmother and was unaware of the reasons for their fractured family. When these three generations come together under one roof for the first time in more than two decades, a surprising discovery sets the trio on a path toward healing and helps them find their way back to each other.'

What will happen in the final season? Will Kat discover that her father, Colton (Jefferson Brown) knew about the pond's time traveling properties all along? Will she be able to see her father and the closure she needs to move on? And who else is jumping into the Pond? These are all questions viewers hope will be answered in the show's final season.
Samantha DiPoppo, SVP of Programming at Hallmark Media, told People magazine, "Season 4 will feature the thrilling twists and turns fans expect and, as the Landry family’s journey comes to a satisfying close, viewers will get the answers they’ve waited for."
Season 4 will premiere in the spring of 2026, likely after When Calls the Heart concludes its Season 13 run around the end of March or early April.
All three seasons of The Way Home are available to stream on Hallmark+. The first two seasons are currently available to stream on Netflix. Season 3 will be available on Netflix sometime in February 2026, according to a post by Chyler Leigh.
