It’s a big week for Blackhawks fans. Not only do the Hawks play home games on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, but it’s also Thanksgiving! And then all of the crazy sales start everywhere and people start running around buying holiday gifts for that special someone… or their kids… or their in-laws….

Seems pretty easy, right? The Blackhawks are bringing back the black alternates beginning this weekend; they’ll wear them on the ice on Friday and Sunday! They’re available on Fanatics with the nameless Alternate Premium starting at $179.99 and the Alternate Breakaways starting at $134.99. The Custom Premium with the name of a player of your choice starts at $249.99.
2025-26 Upper Deck Chicago Blackhawks Centennial Hockey Cards
Upper Deck put together a special, limited edition commemorative set for the Blackhawks’ centennial season. The cards look great and the attention to detail from Upper Deck is really impressive. I spoke with Paul Zickler, the Director of Sports Brands at Upper Deck, earlier this season about putting together this incredible collectors set. He told me they started the process of collecting autographs, jersey pieces and other pieces of Blackhawks history to include in cards almost two years ago.
There are combo, triple and quad autographed cards, a 10-card insert set featuring Connor Bedard and Patrick Kane as the two No. 1 overall picks in franchise history, and some hard signed Centennial Choice pieces that sound incredible. There are subsets that have unique photos from championship parades and memorable moments in franchise history.
There were two subsets that got my attention. “Ticket to Greatness” will include pieces of tickets from the old Chicago Stadium. And there will be a series of seat relic cards with pieces of seats from the old barn as well.
These are set to hit shelves and start shipping in early December. The Hobby Box sells for $139.95. The Box Set sells for $49.95.

If you’re looking for a new hat for your collection that has the Blackhawks’ Centennial logo on it, Fanatics has one that looks good. It’s adjustable, which is nice, and is available for $33.99 (but it’s on sale this week for $23.79).
Blackhawks Salute to Service Hat
You might have seen this one on a screen somewhere because a lot of the Blackhawks players have been wearing these hats after morning skates, practices and games. This year’s edition of the Salute to Service hat is a good looking cap. It’s available on Fanatics for $31.99.
