She said that the emotional toll has been heavy on both Smriti and Palash. She also noted that Palash had been excited about bringing his bride home and had imagined the moment for weeks. Realizing that everything had to be paused at the last minute left him heartbroken.

Palash’s mother revealed that Smriti’s father had been in a cheerful mood just a day earlier. He had danced, enjoyed the celebrations, and even shared moments on social media. But the next day, while plans were being finalized for the baraat, he suddenly started feeling uneasy.
At first, he tried to ignore it, but when the pain increased, the family immediately called an ambulance. He was then quickly taken to the Sarvhit Hospital and Medical Research Centre in Sangli.
