ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Knighthawks are gearing up for the start of their lacrosse season, with excitement building around the team. New ownership, the reigning MVP, and a consistent playoff presence over the last three seasons have fans eager for the action to begin.
2025-26 Opening Roster
Forwards
Connor Fields, Nathan Grenon, Graydon Hogg, Ryan Lanchbury, Thomas McConvey, Ryan Smith, Kyle Waters, and Zed Williams.
Defensemen
Tyler Biles, Dan Coates, Brad Gillies, Taylor Jensen, Ian Llord, Jake Piseno, and Chad Tutton.

The Knighthawks’ roster will see 18 players returning from last season, including the league’s reigning MVP, Connor Fields, as well as starting forwards Ryan Smith and Thomas McConvey. General Manager Dan Carey expressed confidence in the team as training camp winds down.
“We go through training camp and pre-season to prepare for the season. And a big part of that is trying to establish our roster,” Carey said. “We’ve got some young guys that come in and they’re doing everything they can to try and earn a spot on this team, and we’ve got, you know, veteran guys and guys who’ve been here for a long time that, they want to keep their spot.”
The Knighthawks’ opening game is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 14 against the San Diego Seals in California.
