What the Date Means for Park Goers
The move is a big leap forward in the multi-year expansion plans, transforming Disneyland's Walt Disney Studios Park into the new Disney Adventure World.

Later on, the park will debut a brand-new world based on The Lion King called Pride Lands, including an “all-new attraction blending a spectacular water experience with state-of-the-art Audio-Animatronics technology," according to a release, which will "plunge guests into the heart of the Pride Lands, where Simba will await them for an unforgettable adventure complete with iconic songs from the 1994 masterpiece.”
