ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A Rochester man was sentenced on Monday after he was convicted of luring a 13-year-old to a hotel in Greece for sex.
Officials tell us 31-year-old Jonathan Woody met the teen on social media in January of 2024, and eventually coerced them to meet him at a hotel. The say Woody paid for the teen’s Uber and gave them alcohol and drugs.
While the teen was with Woody, they were reported missing by their family. Law enforcement found out about their experience with Woody once they got home, which led to an investigation and ultimately Woody’s arrest.
Woody will spend the next 12 years in prison followed by 10 years of post-release supervision.
