Chris Hemsworth's impression of the late Steve Irwin received the seal of approval from his son Robert Irwin.
In a post shared on Instagram on Nov. 24, the Australian actor, 42, shared a clip from his National Geographic documentary Chris Hemsworth: A Road Trip to Remember, where he rewatched watched his "first 'movie,'" with his parents Craig and Leonie Hemsworth, which included an impression of Steve.
The home video they watched featured a young Hemsworth using his dog to help reenact scenes from The Crocodile Hunter for a school project. In the caption, he joked that the impression was "my first self-appointed, unofficial acting gig" before he went on to work on on Thor and other films.
"I drew inspiration from one of my heroes, the crocodile hunter himself," he continued in the caption. "Thanks for getting me my highest grade ever in school, a C- ?."
Robert took to the comments of the post and praised Hemsworth's impression, writing "I reckon Dad would’ve been stoked ?." He also shared the post on his Instagram Stories as well and added "This [impression] is awesome."
