Alix Earle is dating NFL wide receiver Braxton Berrios, who’s currently playing for the Houston Texans, his fourth team in his professional career so far. He was on contract with the Miami Dolphins when he and Earle started dating, but suffered a season-ending injury to his ACL in October 2023.
“[Your injury], I feel like, brought us even closer,” Earle said on her podcast, “Hot Mess,” in an episode that guest-starred Berrios. “Sometimes it’s hard when people go through something that’s really tough or negative … obviously, that was something that was really upsetting to you, and you’ve been so positive and nice and good throughout it all, and it’s made me appreciate you even more."
Berrios in turn thanked Earle for being there for him in his time of need. “The way you responded and showed support and showed up for me meant the world,” he said.
Is Alix Earle still with Braxton Berrios?
The couple marked their two-year anniversary on Nov. 11, 2025, sharing lovey-dovey messages with each other on Instagram Stories, so it would seem they're still together. But fans (and nosy people in general) have wondered nonetheless whether the couple has secretly broken up, mostly because Berrios has yet to show up to the set of DWTS (which is reportedly due to his football schedule).
This isn't the first time the couple has weathered breakup rumors. Over the summer, reports swirled that they were done after Berrios relocated to Texas for the 2025-26 NFL season (he signed a one-year contract with the Houston Texans). Earle, who currently splits her time between Miami and Los Angeles (for DWTS), addressed those reports in a GRWM video called “How To Survive a Long Distance Relationship”
“When we go out without each other, everyone's like, 'You and Braxton are broken up because Alix is out at a party without him,'" Earle said in the video. "I am allowed to go out without my boyfriend and I think we just trust each other," she said. "It's not a crazy concept to us. Like, imagine if Braxton was like, 'You can't go out tonight.' I would be like, 'Well, this isn't gonna work out for me.’”
Earle went on to say that Berrios enjoys his own nights out, too, and she’s not "nagging him, asking him a million questions."
"We just kind of trust each other," she said.
They were last seen together in public — that we know of — in early October, when Earle threw Berrios a surprise 30th birthday party in Los Angeles.
"I hope everybody gets to feel as loved as I felt this weekend," Berrios said on Instagram. "There’s nothing better than being surrounded by the people you love that traveled across the country to be there for you. Alix I don’t know how you pulled this surprise off but I’m so thankful you did. What a way to start 30!"
Earle addressed her boyfriend's absence at the season premiere of Dancing With the Stars, explaining that his football schedule was standing in the way of his being there — and that's apparently still an obstacle, because Berrios has yet to make an appearance at the show. So far, the wide receiver has only played the role of supportive boyfriend on social media, where he's posted screenshots of his votes on Instagram Stories. (To be fair, Earle hasn't been to any of his football games this season yet, either. Power couples have packed schedules!)
Will Braxton Berrios be at the DWTS finale?
It remains to be seen whether Berrios will be there to cheer his girlfriend on at the DWTS finale on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, but he could in theory make it: His next game is on Sunday, Nov. 30, and the NFL typically gives its players off on the Tuesday before a Sunday game. Don't blow it, Braxton!

Earle and Berrios started dating in March 2023, when Earle was still in her senior year at the University of Miami, and they made their red carpet debut at the ESPY Awards in July. But Earle didn't agree to put a label on their relationship until many months later, in November, choosing the 11th of that month as their official anniversary.
“I was a little bit more closed off,” she explained of her hesitation to call Berrios her boyfriend on an episode of “Hot Mess.”“…Everyone in the past was just always an a--hole and terrible, and I always just thought relationships were really, really bad.”

But Berrios has denied her accusations, saying that they broke up because they realized they “just weren’t working out” as a couple. “It had nothing to do with anything else,” he said on Instagram. “It had nothing to do with anybody else for that matter. We just didn't work out and that's okay."
As for Earle, she took to her podcast in December 2023 to deny being a “homewrecker.”
“I have already been through this a million and one times with NFL Man,” she said, referring to Berrios. “Because I was like, ‘I will not be with you if this is what happened.’ But I know that nothing happened, because I know myself that I did not get with him this weekend at the Super Bowl. So I was like, ‘Fine, unless you were dating her in March, I don't know what to say, but I did not homewreck your relationship.’”
