Kern would have secured an ‘A’ final spot in both the 100 breast and 200 breast at the meet, and her 100 breast time would have been the fastest on the team last season. Her current 100 breast time would also rank 5th all-time in school history.
Kern will join Kiersten Armstrong on campus next fall. Armstrong is a distance swimmer with a 4:57.15 in the 500 free.
