Ella Langley has been forced to cut back on her spending habits after making some over-the-top purchases. The country singer recently revealed that her business manager had to step in to stop her from draining her funds before she made another mistake of shelling out even more money for something else.
While speaking with Taste of Country ahead of the 59th annual CMA Awards, the “Choosin’ Texas” hitmaker, 26, said one of the reasons her spending has gotten out of hand is due to her love of “sweet scents.”
"My business manager was like, 'No more splurge purchasing, you're done!'" Langley said of the wake-up call that she needed after dropping “200 at a candle store.”
“That's enough. That'll do it,” Langley explained of how the scented candles have a way of persuading her to reach into her pockets.
"I like sweet scents. But I also like clean, like a little eucalyptus candle for my bathroom. I need as much Zen as I can get,” Langley explained.
She Recently Bought a House
Candles aren’t the only item that Langley has dropped some cash on. She recently bought a brand new house in her home state of Alabama — something she announced during a show at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium following a break from touring. Fans will recal, during the fall of 2025, she took a hiatus to rest and to focus on her “health, mind, body, and heart.”

Although Langley admittedly doesn’t have time to visit home often, she also doesn’t have much time to shop either. The singer/songwriter’s career has been taking off. Most recently, she took home three awards at the 2025 CMA Awards for Single of the Year, Song of the Year, and Music Video of the Year for her collaboration “you look like you love me,” with Riley Green. Next year, Langley has a packed schedule. She will be joining Eric Church on his Free The Machine Tour and hitting the road with Morgan Wallen on his Still The Problem Tour.
