HENRIETTA, N.Y. — A tractor-trailer has crashed, causing a large diesel fuel spill, on the New York State Thruway (I-90) about halfway between the Henrietta and Le Roy edits.
According to the Henrietta Fire District, the truck is in the median and there are no injuries.
Both eastbound and westbound traffic is significantly affected, so drivers are advised to use alternate routes if possible, while firefighters, New York State Police, New York State Thruway Authority and Hazmat personnel work to get the highway reopened.
