ROCHESTER, N.Y. — People gathered in Rochester on Saturday for a “Remove the Regime” protest against the Trump administration. Protesters carried signs as they marched from State Street to the Liberty Pole downtown.
“This, I think, really shows the spirit of community and the fact that the people of our country are finally saying that enough is enough,” Marcia Glenn of Indivisible Monroe County said. “We do not want to take it anymore.
“We’re ready to end up taking our country back and having the people that we elect actually represent us, and not their own self-dealing interests,” she continued.
Glenn also mentioned that it is time for people to make their voices heard clearly. She said Indivisible is planning demonstrations on a regular basis.
