The Pioneer Woman star made the revelation after her oldest daughter, Alex Drummond Scott, hosted a fan Q&A on Instagram. One follower asked Alex if she would ever appear on Dancing With the Stars, and the 28-year-old’s response quickly turned into a playful family moment.
“I am nowhere near famous enough for that ????,” Alex wrote in her caption. “But I’ve always said that @thepioneerwoman should do it. ?.”

In the accompanying video, Alex doubled down.
“It always shocks me how many responses I get whenever I post about watching Dancing With the Stars, of people saying, ‘Oh my gosh, you should go on it!’ Which is flattering, but I am in no way famous enough or even in the realm of enough of a celebrity to be on the show,” she said, laughing.
But she had someone else in mind.
“I do think my mom should go on it. I've said that for a long time. She would literally never, but I think that would be so fun. And she used to be a ballerina, so I feel like she would be really good.”
Alex added that if she ever got the call, she’d do it “no questions asked” — but she insists it’s not remotely in the cards.
