The blind Women’s T20 World Cup was jointly hosted by Sri Lanka and India, where the final took place in the Island nations oldest venue, P. Saravanamuttu Stadium. As far as the match is concerned, Phula Saren top-scored for India with 44 from 27 deliveries, to make it rather one-sided contest.

In the tournament, the hosts had a great outing, and beat Australia in the semis recently, to reach the summit clash. Nepal, on the other hand, got rid of Pakistan in the semis.
Co-hosts Sri Lanka were poor in the tournament, and won only one match against the USA in all their encounters.
