ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Bills Mafia is in for a special treat this weekend.
Hallmark’s “Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story” premieres Saturday on the Hallmark Channel at 8 p.m.
The film stars Holland Roden, Matthew Daddario, Joe Pantoliano, Tracy Pollan, Caroline Aaron, Steve Schirripa and Patti Murin. It will also feature several coaches and players, such as Sean McDermott, Dawson Knox, Ray Davis, Damar Hamlin, and more.
The movie was shot in and around Buffalo this summer, including at Highmark Stadium.
A parade was held in Buffalo on Nov. 13 to celebrate the team and the premiere of the new film, News10NBC’s affiliate in Buffalo reports.
Schirripa, who starred in “The Sopranos,” described the film to our affiliate.
“Romance, family, community, holidays and it was a great cast,” he said. “We enjoyed the directors, the producers. It really was a wonderful experience.”
During the Bills home opener this year, News10NBC’s Sports Reporter Mat Mlodzinski caught up with some of the stars of the film, who got to experience a real Bills tailgate.
