Liza Minnelli took to Instagram on Friday, Nov. 21 to share a rare photo of her with her mother, Judy Garland, at Christmas.
"Yikes! Christmas already?" the Instagram post's caption began. "I love cashmere. In this Christmas pic I’m wearing a cashmere robe Santa, Mama and Papa gave me. Memories. Two of my fashion friends, Linda Mandelbaum @lmandelbaum & daughter Robin Mandelbaum Kugel @robosara24 have a wonderful pop-up of luxurious cashmere in the darling village of Roslyn, NY."
Minnelli's caption was a promotion for her friends' shop. She offered a code for free shipping before signing off with, "Christmas cashmere shopping? Complete.Next stop? Blue boxes, babies!"
The real draw of the post, however, was the throwback picture that Minnelli, 79, included. The photo showed her sitting on the floor next to her mom, both opening Christmas presents. Minnelli appeared to be about 4 or 5-years-old in the snap.
