BUFFALO, N.Y. (WHEC) – Brighton football is one step closer to bringing home a Class A State championship to Section V, defeating McKinley, 42-14 in the quarterfinals.

“We’re peaking at the right point which is good for our State run, hopefully,” said Rossignol.
And now for Brighton, they’ll play in the State semifinals on Friday in Syracuse.
“It’s huge. Another opportunity to have this team stay together,” said head coach Stephen Lian.
Their game will be against Union-Endicott on Nov. 28 at 6 p.m. at Cicero-North Syracuse High School.
