Glenn Close Dramatically Transforms for Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping Role

Close, 78, plays the role of Drusilla Sickle, a villainous official of the Hunger Games who serves as the escort for Panem's District 12, the same role that is later filled by Effie Trinket (Elizabeth Banks) in the original trilogy.

To transform for the role, Close was turned into an eccentric and colorful member of the Capitol, sporting a bright orange bob with harsh, choppy bangs.

She also appeared to be wearing some amount of facial prosthetics to give her eyebrows and unnatural arch and an unsettling smile outlined in vibrant red lipstick, rendering her nearly unrecognizable to fans.
