ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Paychex founder and philanthropist Tom Golisano has made yet another major donation.
Golisano is committing $25 million to the Mary Cariola Foundation. The money will be used to expand and modernize services.
The foundation is working to build its own state-of-the-art school campus with space for enhanced therapies, medical services, and flexible classrooms.

In October, Golisano announced that he would be donating $253 million to various children’s hospitals across the country.

“The idea of giving these financial grants to these organizations while I’m alive and they get it sooner, I get to enjoy it more and they get to enjoy it more,” Golisano told News10NBC’s Brett Davidsen during a one on one interview.

Golisano has donated more than a billion dollars of his fortune, leading some to call him Rochester’s modern day George Eastman.
