Green and Thiessen were all smiles as they posed for a photo, a first since they ended their three-year relationship that began in 1992. Many remember them as the "it" couple at the time, with Green having reached out to Thiessen when she was starring on Saved By the Bell.

The two actors soon started dating, with Thiessen often joining him at 90210 events. It led to Thiessen joining the show in Season 4 after the exit of Shannen Doherty as Brenda Walsh.
With Thiessen on set, working with other people from the cast, and on different schedules, it ultimately bothered Green.
"This was more of a complete family, and I was there all day long every single day so all of a sudden she comes in and she's working with people, not with me. She has a dressing [room] in the same hallway, but we have different call times, and we have different things going on," said Green in an Oldish podcast.
He went on to reveal that he became "jealous" of Thiessen's bigger storylines and didn't handle it well. Both actors were in their late teens when they started dating, and Green admits he wasn't "mature" about the situation.
The two had a short-lived romance, but Thiessen told US Weekly there's no bad blood between her former co-star and ex. She does add that Green wasn't the "most secure" with her being a part of 90210.
"I also had my own insecurities about being on a job that, again, was very established. There were relationships that were super close that I wasn't a part of. It was definitely stressful and hard. I really take pride in having people speak about my work ethic and how professional I am."
