Bruce Willis' daughter, Rumer Willis, shared a health update on her dad amid his ongoing battle with frontotemporal dementia.
Bruce, 70, announced his retirement from acting in 2022 after an aphasia diagnosis. In February 2023, the Die Hard actor's family announced he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. His wife, Emma Heming, 47, revealed during an August 2025 interview with Diane Sawyer that Bruce lives in a separate home from his family and has around-the-clock care from a team.

On Thursday, Nov. 20, Rumer, 37, opened up about how her father is doing during a Q&A session on her Instagram Stories. One follower asked, "How's your dad doing?"
"People always ask me this question, and I think it's kind of a hard one to answer," she began her video. "Because the truth is, that anybody with FTD is not doing great. But he's doing OK, in terms of somebody who's dealing with frontotemporal dementia."

That I still see a spark of him, and he can feel the love that I'm giving. So that feels really nice."
Additionally, Rumer said she was thankful to take her daughter, Luetta, 23 months, to spend time with Bruce.
