Ariana Grande is gearing up to hit the road again next year, but fans might want to savor every second this time around.
The pop star, 32, recently shared that her 2026 Eternal Sunshine tour could be her last for a very long stretch, marking what she calls a “one last hurrah” as she pivots toward a new era of her career.
In a new interview on the Good Hang with Amy Poehler podcast, the Wicked star reflected on the huge shift she's feeling artistically after 15 years of music, touring, and global superstardom.
“I think the last 10 or 15 years will look very different than the ones that are coming up,” she said, emphasizing that while there aren't "any definitive things," her intentions are clear.
"I do know that I'm very excited to do this small tour, but I think it might not happen again for a long, long, long, long time," she said plainly. “I'm going to give it my all, and it's going to be beautiful. I think that's why I'm doing it, because I'm like, one last hurrah — for now.”
Grande said she’s finally reconnecting with the parts of herself that existed long before arena tours and radio hits.
“I spent so much time only doing pop music, but I grew up as a girl who loved musical theater and comedy,” she explained to Poehler, adding that the next chapter is about following what feels “very right in the moment,” even if those choices are unexpected.
"I think the thing that will be best for my soul and also for my art… is if I'm chasing things that sort of feel just very right in the moment," said Grande.
That mindset is what led her to say yes to a handful of 2026 shows, but also why she isn’t promising more. Still, Grande is nowhere near slowing down creatively.
Ariana's Big Year
The singer is reprising her role as Glinda inWicked: For Good, which is releasing nationally on Nov. 21. The role earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress last year.
She told Poehler that she’s working on a new film, though she didn’t give the title. Elsewhere, it was announced that she’s joining Ben Stiller and Robert De Niroin Meet the Parents 4: Focker In-Law.
She’s also set to appear in American Horror Story Season 13, premiering in 2026, joking about the physicality of her new acting role.
“I spent yesterday doing burpees and high knees with Robert De Niro. I'm like, ‘What is this movie? What are we doing?’ But I'm having a blast. It’s really special.”
The Eternal Sunshine Tour
The Eternal Sunshine tour will span North America and the U.K. beginning June 2026. With six years since her last tour and no guarantee of another, tickets may become some of the hottest of the decade.
Though she assured fans in The New York Times earlier this year that “music will be in my life forever,” she also acknowledged what diehards were already thinking: “I have to say that for my fans who are reading this who are going to have a heart attack.”
For now, she’s letting instinct guide her. As she told Poehler, “I think following those authentic impulses feels like a really good idea.”
