One image showed the two actors pressing their heads together with their arms around each other's shoulders.
Skarsgård wore a black jacket and matching slacks. Meanwhile, Brosnan opted to wear a pinstripe suit.
While Skarsgård and Brosnan starred as their respective Mamma Mia! characters Bill and Sam in two movie musicals, the actors admitted they didn't love to dance in a 2018 interview with Marianne Bergseth.
Skarsgård said that he doesn't like to dance if someone tells him to do so. He said, however, that he can get himself "in a state of mind" when he's able to enjoy dancing for projects like the Mamma Mia! movies. Brosnan agreed with Skarsgård and said that he'll dance after consuming "a few vodka tonics."
While Brosnan feels lukewarm about dancing, he shared that he enjoys singing.
"Actually, I do, I mean I give it my best effort," said Brosnan in the 2018 interview.
According to Brosnan, his singing voice was compared to how Bruce Springsteen sounds.
"Bruce Springsteen is a big hero of mine and I was very pleased to hear that I sounded like Bruce Springsteen," said the actor in the interview.
He clarified that "not everybody thought that."
"Of course though I heard other rumors and rumblings just awfulness," quipped Brosnan.
Pierce Brosnan Said He's Interested in Filming Another 'Mamma Mia!' Movie
In an April 2025 interview with ETalk, Brosnan said he would be interested in reprising Sam for a possible third Mamma Mia movie.
"Everyone wants to do it. I think there's space and there's energy and a desire for a third one, so we'll see," said the actor.
In a November 2025 interview with Entertainment Tonight, Rita Wilson, who was the executive producer of both the Mamma Mia! movies, said that a third film is "not off the table." Actress Amanda Seyfried, who plays Sophie Sheridan in the Mamma Mia! movies, also told the publication she believes Mamma Mia 3! is "a done deal." In addition, she said that she would like to see Sophie as a mother in a future Mamma Mia! movie.
