"He was shaking because he was so nervous," Richter admitted on The Three Questions With Andy Richter podcast. "I was like, 'Come on, lay it on me!'"

"He would kiss me on the cheek...or I'd go to kiss him and he'd give me a side cheek. I'm like, 'Come on!'"
Now, Bersten is "really proud" their kiss made the Internet, according to Slater, who laughed about the story on the pod.
"Alan doesn't need to be threatened — it's Emma who needs to be threatened," Richter quipped.
"Emma is the third wheel: confirmed," wrote another Reddit user.
"Andy really brought some hilarious moments to the 20th anniversary, this kiss being one of them," another Reddit comment reads. Richter's time on Dancing With the Stars was joyous for many viewers, who were sad to see him go. Still, his elimination went down in DWTS history as one of the "most satisfying."
