The Hunting Wives crew is back as filming for Season 2 is underway, Malin Åkerman shared this week.
"Hold on to your wigs…we have officially started shooting season 2!!!" she wrote on Instagram of a photo with co-stars Brittany Snowand Jaime Ray Newman. "And y’all are not gonna be disappointed."

Of the show's same-sex love scenes, several of which also include scenes between Åkerman and Newman's character, "The Proposal" star previously spoke about how steamy situations were handled on set. “Every director was a woman, and the woman who directed mine and Brittany's first intimate scene is Melanie Mayron, and she is herself a lesbian,” she explained on a podcast this summer. “And so she’s like, ‘I want this to be beautiful and what we think is sexy and what we deem as sexy, and also have that nuance of the tenderness and the love and the excitement behind it.’ So that was really beautiful to just have that discussion.” The role has also earned Åkerman the title of "Lesbian Icon," a role that she welcomes.
"I love it. [And} I’ve gotten a nickname. ‘Mother,’ she said. "The highest respect. I’m like, ‘Thank you. Thank you very much."
