Ahead of the Country Music Association's annual award show ceremony, the "Beautiful Crazy" crooner shared who he would pick to win this year's Entertainer of the Year award—and even though he's among the nominees, he didn't name himself.

Luke Combs Names Which of His Fellow Nominees Should Win CMA Entertainer of the Year
During a conversation on the "Taste of Country Nights" radio show with Evan Paul, Combs shared which of his fellow nominees would get his vote if he were to choose the 2025 CMA Entertainer of the Year.
Combs is nominated alongside fellow country hitmakers Lainey Wilson, Morgan Wallen, Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton.
"I mean, I think Lainey 's chances are high," Combs, 35, said. "But CoJo [Cody Johnson] would be kinda sick, too, you know what I mean? He's great. I love him, too."
View this post on InstagramJohnson is the only artist in the group who is a first-time Entertainer of the Year nominee, making him somewhat of an underdog. Stapleton has been nominated for the award a total of nine times, though he's never won.
How Many Times Has Luke Combs Won CMA Entertainer of the Year?
Combs has already been nominated for Entertainer of the Year five times and has won the award twice, once in 2021 and again in 2022.
As for Wilson, 33, the "Heart Like a Truck" songstress has been nominated a total of three times, winning the honor in 2023. Wallen, 32, is currently holds the title of Entertainer of the Year after winning the award in 2024.
In addition to Entertainer of the Year, Combs is also nominated in this year's categories for Male Vocalist of the Year and Single of the Year for "Ain't No Love in Oklahoma."
The 2025 CMA Awards will be held at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 19. The show will broadcast live on ABC at 8 p.m., and will be available to stream the next day on Hulu.
